Who we are!

Welcome to Jayes Guest House, a warm and inviting home away from home on the beautiful island of St Helena.

We are Paul and Jaye Loosley, the proud owners of this charming bed and breakfast. Our journey together began in the Falkland Islands, where we spent 20 wonderful years—Jaye working in the hospitality industry at the Upland Goose Hotel and the Malvina House Hotel, and Paul building a career in construction management.

When the time came to retire, we knew we wanted to settle somewhere truly special. For Jaye, St Helena is home, and for both of us, it felt like the perfect paradise to start our next adventure. That’s when Jayes Guest House was born.

Completed eight years ago, our guest house was purpose-built to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay for visitors. We take pride in offering spacious and well-equipped rooms, including wheelchair-friendly accommodation on the ground floor with a wet-area bathroom for ease of access.

Whether you’re here to explore St Helena’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes, or simply unwind in a peaceful setting, we are here to ensure your stay is comfortable, welcoming, and memorable.
